Have any of you critics noticed what Country this was filmed in? This was a major competition. The Twist was a Club dance from more than 50 years ago but, in Ballroom Dance Schools around the world it's beat is still used to teach Jive on the Silver Level. Like New York, New York is used to teach Fox Trot on the Bronze Level. Every single student has heard it so many times, they even hate it in their sleep but it helps the Jive student get their kicks and flicks on the beat of the music. It's very fast and it isn't easy, even when you can hear the beat of the music. Older music was much cleaner making it easier to determine the beat. Especially, for younger students who don't have years of experience breaking down sounds from different instruments.

that is not twisting that's called stomping it's a modern African dance when you stomp your feet on the ground twisting and Tails moving your arms and waist in opposite directions as to the rhythm of the music
