it's called a Pompier ladder. it's French. I'm a Retired Fire Lieutenant and trained on real Pomp ladders going up 6 stories. and they were wooden with just a single beam and the rungs on either side. much heavier that that aluminum ladder. L.F.D. Lawrence Massachusetts Strong

you can clearly see the guys floating halfway up the ladder, it's edited...I've been in the ladder business for 30 yrs and what this guy's doing is dangerous one missed step and he's dead so it's fake💕

That is called a bangor ladder. It is used in firefighting all over the world. Due to safety concerns the NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency) and OSHA banned its use in the United States in the early 2000s. My old department had to remove these from our entire fleet of apparatus in 2002 if my memory serves me correctly. Using one of these to scale the exterior of a 15-story building is one hell of an adrenaline rush. Now, let me see him do that in FULL turnout gear while wearing an SCBA and a set of irons...lol

Now WTH would you find structures/buildings with open air patios or outlooks that you could hook your ladder onto, first of all, and then HTH would you get the people inside of the burning room or building DOWN from the dangerous areas?!? Certainly NOT by using THAT ladder or any other version of such ladder. That said, as long as the ladder could HOOK onto something, it would be a good way to get into a burning building and add yourself to the list of people who are burned to death. HOWEVER, it IS an interesting thing to watch such Studly Men show off. J.S.
