I would like to see how a 5.7x28mm with 40 grain Hornaday V max bullet performs in your lineup of test weapons. That cartridge is able to penetrate a bullet proof vest. For a time it was known as the โcop killer โ. Iโm not suggesting anything, with that label. Just a reference point.

each shot after the first one shouldn't count if you're rating penetration cause the higher size you go as you go on the glass is already compromised, you'd get a better idea of the glass strength and bullet penetration capacity if you tested each round on fresh glass but that would also be very expensive to test
You would need to shoot into a new window every time to get an accurate reading
The contemporary stuff is top secret still but if I remember right the bush-era stuff would stop pretty much everything short of a 50bmg from a rifle
I feel like this video is a mistake considering the fact that now people know what those type of windows can withstand

To be fair, you did knock the composition of the glass by firing several rounds before the 50 bmg.
by the time he got to the scar gun , the window glass was wasted .. only thing left was the middle liner
every time you shoot it tho, your taken the structural integrity out of each have over and over.... need multiple windows for an accurate test
If burn notice has taught me anything never skip on bulletproof glass.

I love the content! but can't really call this a test? it be diff if for each caliber shot a new peice of glass but I get it,also u can say it's a legit test bc u could say it's a simulation of a attack and it would get shot multiple times. but hey I still enjoy the hell out of it! keep em comin!!!!

Iโm not an expert on any of this but wouldnโt it be true that by the time the larger calibers were shot the glass is already majorly compromised? It would be cool to see each shot hit an undamaged window. Of course it would be difficult to get access to that many secret service windows.

lol any bullet proof glass can be taken if shot enough times if you were to get a ar or any gun and shoot the same general area you will bust through the glass also there is rounds built for busting through stuff like that 50 cal which is built to go through military grade tanks and aircraft! but just the right grouping of shots will penetrate bullet-proof glass
All this testing is completely inconsistent after the first shot the glass is compromised
