look, I always hear that they are under payed. NOPE, this is how it works. let's say you pay 5$ an hour. that's 250$ as 1$ is 50$ in Mexico. 10 hours a day = 2,250$ in Mexico. they get on welfare, they get free health care, cuz they get treated and don't pay.the farmers give them housing free, they have 6 to 8 kids that's 100$/kid from uncle Sam. yeah, they send all their money back to Mexico. and one day they steal your truck and make a dash home. good truck,plenty of money in the bank..R.E.D..U.S.M.C.

my Mom and Dad both picked cotton. West Texas. and I grew up on a hog ranch and worked from age 5 to 18 U.S.M.C. 1974 77 then went back raising hogs. 02:30 in the summer till sundown. 7 to sundown in the winter. and Sundays as well. R.E.D. U.S.M.C.

most everything is done by machine on every ĥigh yield farm, ì picked up from many farms in my 33yrs of trucking. in the middle 80s there were 25% still done by hand most of them were easily damaged by machines of the era.
