So sweet!! When our two oldest grandsons were born, our boxer, Tyson, appointed himself as bodyguard of them. My girlfriend came to see the oldest, and bent down to pick him up, Tyson just gently but firmly laid against her so she couldn’t go any further. I had to reassure him that it was okay. He was very protective of all of us. Never in a mean way

My first Dachshund would heard the the grand kids around the yard so they didn’t get into anything she thought might hurt them. When they would cry she would literally tickle them and calm them down. Bets dog I ever had. No getting on to her kids. 🥰
