my George Van Tuxedo just passed at 23 .6 years old. that's the way he walked toward the end. l had him longer than my children were home. My other two Tuxedos still look for him 3 weeks later. l really miss his stare from my pillow in the mornings. l loved him so much.🥰🥰🥰
Most of mine lived to their late teens. The oldest living to 21 years old. Yes, it is a big commitment. But to me, they didn't live long enough, I miss everyone of them. Only have 1 now. He is 7 years old. I don't want to pass and leave a pet behind to go into a shelter. Enjoying my last one.💕💕
What do you feed him ? I have a 19 year old Pixie Bobcat & I was feeding him dry, then gravy & meat, then raw salmon, which seemed to settle with him well. then my daughter tried canned pink salmon. He loved it. Bit I can't seem to get him to.gain more weight. Can't afford a vet. Do you have any ideas that would help him? Even though he's 19 he still cuddles & purrs by my shoulder at nite. I don't have the Heart to put him down. We live in the wilderness & he feels safe here. I pray that when its his time, it'll be in his sleep. My poor baby.😥😥

i grew up with a cat that was born a year and a half before me, he passed away when i was 17 and he was 19, its still so hard to think about because i always considered him my big brother even though he was just a cat, he was polydactyl and half lynx, he was the most friendly cat in the world, he always had his annoying meow but that’s only because he was an old man living with 4 other cats. i usually hate thinking about it because it makes me cry but today im just letting the tears fall as i write this comment because of all the other stories i read in these comment sections, he was my old man but he was always my baby boy. Rest In Peace Ace

my 21 yr old and my 16 yr old both have kidney disease. Don't feed dry food. my 21 yr old did pass. my 16 yr old we inject saline solution in back of neck. he is still eating a lot and wants to play.
My cat was 25. She broke her back trying to jump on a table. Had to put her to sleep. She was amazing.
As long as no PAIN… QOL is whats important!!

Amazing- I have marmalade brothers who are 17. So far so good. They are indoor/outdoor, now mostly in. They love my lap and purr and ask for kisses. I'm in my 80's, so we keep each other going.

🙏 My mom's cat which was 18+yrs old accidentally 😭 got run over by my daughter Wednesday, I was so mad and distrot over her lose cause she didn't like dogs or other people, yet she became friends with Mom and ex husband passed away, and loved up to me when I removed two ticks from her. we miss Lady Girl so much.

Wow. He's a wonder. At 83 i made arrangements with a local place to allow my 7 yr old twins to live out their lives together with them. It's a home for cats, lots of volunteers, and will keep my boys together.
