Not trying to be a Karen or fun sucker but I’d never scare either of my dogs. One of my dogs has seizures, I’d hate to trigger one. But just think if they were abused in a previous home, their fight or flight will probably kick into overdrive and they could cause serious injury to themselves or others. Not to mention the level of fear and distress they’d experience. I get freaked out when my everything is calm and quiet and suddenly my dogs start barking at something they perceive to be a threat. They want to love and protect you! How is triggering a dog funny? Poor babies don’t get it is a sick joke, they think something is really wrong!
