Bless her heart! 🥺 That's terrifying especially if she's driving herself! If she can't tell a red car from a blue one, she doesn't need to be out alone even if she's not driving. Surely though, if someone drove her there, they'd have went in to help her. So very sad. It's good it was a nice lady's car, not some mean person. Skit or real, this is really sad. A lot of elderly deal with real life scenarios like this every day. 🥺😢💔

That doesn't just happen to the elderly, I was sitting in my car in a parking lot once and a woman in her 30s opened my door, we both looked shocked, she apologized saying she had a similar car and I almost did the same thing too, but I didn't open the car door because I realized it wasn't my car.

First if all, if I'm in the car by myself or someone is with me - My Doors are LOCKED. Yes, I would definitely help the nice lady find her car and load her groceries for her. Then I would ask her if she was ok to drive home.

This happened to my mom but she was much younger just on her cell and not paying attention. My young sons and I were waiting in our car right outside the door and she opened the front passenger door to the car parked next to us and started to get in still chatting away. I ran over and kept trying to interrupt her and she kept shooing me away with her hand all the while my kids are laughing at Nanna. She finally realized her mistake but the little kids waiting in the backseat of that car had to be wondering what that crazy white woman was doing 😆

I am going to stand on a soap box here!! Living in a senior living area I can’t tell you how many times I see seniors coming out of Walmart, Publix, Winn Dixie, Kohl’s Bealls, and other big stores with large parking lots after spending time shopping. They come there not only to shop but to socialize, exercise the body and brain. Many don’t have the skills to “shop by computer”. Anyhow none of these stores have the parking aisles identified with Letters or some Identification. It breaks my heart seeing a senior pushing their cart searching for their car getting more confused and anxious. When I approached management about installing some ID at each parking aisle I was told corporate decides these things!!! Let’s see what the corporates’ son or daughter thinks when their mom or dad falls in their parking lot after searching for their car 30 minutes because the CEO couldn’t put up 10 simple signs marking each aisle A, B or C or numbers ! Would it really cost you that much America!!!
