Just a caution for everyone watching: if someone stages a fake fight or “prank” that causes panic and people get hurt trying to escape, that can create real legal liability. It’s reasonably foreseeable that pretending violence is happening will cause fear and chaos. Even if there’s no intent to harm, intent doesn’t cancel responsibility when injuries occur. If people are hurt because of the panic, there may be grounds to sue for medical costs, emotional distress, lost wages, and pain and suffering. At that point, it’s no longer a joke—it’s accountability.
