He is going out with his parents in the car without the keys to the car we can't go anywhere. Nice parents, as Jamaican parents we would let him get in the car and we just sit back and relax in the driveway until it clicks that we can't move without the keys. Then Dad would say 2 bbc get the keys and say stay home until we get back don't leave the house or else.

The fact that he said “your mama forgot them should have been ugh for him to know that they needed him to bring them. And a more impactful lesson would have been for him to go back and get the keys, rather than mom going back. I guarantee you this w/o have jarred his memory the next time.
