heating that glass unconventionaly as in just that part only instead of the entire piece as in like the whole sheet in a over would almost certainly cause the glass to go into shock and normally and most occasions the very second thst heated portion of glass reaches what ever the room temp. is then the glass shall brake into a bunch of pieces at once very quickly in a very startling manner like a very random boom unexpectedly.

The torch was never on. it would have taken 3 seconds at most for him to feel it not to mention the window would be black and it would have reacted to the water being thrown by either shattering or flash boiling.

I say bs. The heat from the torch is far more likely to radiate inward back towards the guy with the torch. Also, the glass could well crack after heating it in a localized spot like that.
Complete B.S the glass would have shattered almost immediately, seen it happen many times when people tried to clean their oven door glass.
