The country that they call India today only got that name in 1950. They are Bharat, and their country was Hindustan. They renamed it India because of the river running through it. They stole the name Indians from the native Americans and claimed that Columbus made a mistake. but before we 1950, nobody but native Americans were ever called Indians.
