In 1978,I was backing an upright forklift. Just as I was about to get to the corner, the boss's son came around the same corner, towards me and crushed my right leg. Compound fracture, with the bottom of my leg hanging by skin,tendons and muscle. They were able to put it back together. Still have occasional pain, but thankful to still have it.

I stressed my shop guys on honking their horns. it worked and they started almost over honking, which is better than not. they need better training. mirrors on the ends help a lot too. set them up for success management!!
