When any fish gets that big it means they are old and the meat doesn't have the best taste. Plus depending on the type of fish, when they get old the meat gets tough and or rubbery.

If you apply the laws of nature to it. Everything that's big and beautiful is not meant to be consumed by the mouth but by the eyes. Fish without scales is to fish with scales, as pigeon is to a chicken. In this case tuna has scale, catfish do not. People eat more tuna
