That's a snakehead with her brood. Most fish don't do that, but snakeheads are brooders. They stay together as a pair, and protect their babies until they reach a certain size. One of them (usually the female) stays very close to the babies, and they will swim around the bottom of her gut, while the other one circles around all of them in a larger pattern.
This is the ultimate proof to me that animals don’t necessarily mean animalistic in nature. There’s something that’s ingrained with them to take care of their babies and those babies cling to their mother and I think that it’s absolutely beautiful that you let them go. For the person that says what kind of viscous fish this is I don’t think it’s viscous at all. I think in its natural habitat left unharmed it is the way it should be.
Not a dope fish. It’s vicious invasive and not native to America. They kill everything in there that path. They can “walk” on dry land to get to another body of water by wiggling side to side. If you catch one kill it done throw back. And don’t eat them!
if only they felt like this from 1619-1865 😭

beautiful looking fish
a few minutes later someone else captured the fish and ate it
yeah that's mom bro put her back 🥺
respect nature
This might be the worst music I have ever heard in my life. It's as if someone set a record player on fire and the record is slowly melting. Awful.
Probably a male fish. Female fish would have jumped in the boat.
u have respect on 1,000 lvl

Yeah that fish and her babies will wipe out the fish population in that body of water until there’s nothing left to fish.
why he dressed like the fish
so what I'll eat it anyways
Those snakehead fish are a threat to the ecosystem
good man
dat a Coy fish
good job to the man 🥰for releasing the fish back to it's babies🥺 I wish I would've been there because I would've been we eating good tonight just until I seen that the other fish needed this one fish to survive.....that's crazy.😭
Aww she has babies
Oh I thought that was the babysitter😭they must look like they daddy🤣🤣🤣
👍🫡👍
'The Northern Snakehead is an invasive species in North America, including the United States and Canada, because it poses a threat to native fish, recreational fishing, and aquatic ecosystems." Should have kept it and killed the babies.
I wouldn’t of been able to take the mother away either
Y tf is this on my fighting app
first rule of hunting is the respect of life no women no children no suffering no starvation
All these people are saying it's invasive (which it is) and others are saying to leave it cuz it has babies. How about we compromise and take the mom and the babies? Then have a nice pan-fried fish and deep fry the babies and turn them into some crispy fries. These fish are predators and they destroy the ecosystems that they are in. Why do we care or think that the fish has feelings? It doesn't care about other fish's "feelings" lol
Fish momma: THANK YOU❤️
🇺🇸😭
Cows are sweet and great mothers are y’all releasing your hamburgers and steaks?
Trumps Taking Out The Garbage 🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💕💕💕
Regardless of being invasive species, that one moment of connection of family & protection, resonates between all of us. Us humans put the fish there, not them. Despite the breed of fish he saw it as a mother protecting her offspring that will ultimately die without. Hard work that was already put in by that creature taken away in a moments notice. It’s all about the decisions we make ultimately, I hope we are able to find more mercy/ thoughtfulness like this in these worrisome times.
