Damn.... My uncle Shep was a prison guard for 27 years at Trenton State Prison (NJSP). The inmates respected him because he gave them respect. He's also a black belt in martial arts. He had to knock out a few disrespectful inmates a few times but only because they tried him. The other inmates saw that and didn't want none. But like I said, he gave them respect and earned his respect. They are still men.
