Only reason I didn’t try n go all they way with boxing is I grew up with a plug for a dad I’m his first he raised me in the streets now I’m older I wish I would have boxes instead of being in the streets I got medals an all

I didn't know to punch 1st fight i got into besides my siblings fight. I wear lots of rings I made a fist & punched. w/my fingers. broke 8 fingers. my parents where mad i had to practice punch w/ my knuckles.

Fellas, for your sake heed this advice if you didn’t know already, step in when you swing, I see too many people swing without moving their legs at all, you won’t land punches doing that, technique matters yea but at the very least you should be able to step in with your punch, any amateur can do it right away, absolutely necessary or you won’t land a hit

The main thing hood people need to fix is their stance, and the second is their mindset. If you have a good stance, you can block and parry hits well. If you don't, you have a higher chance of getting knocked out. The mindset is the key to winning a fight. Some hood people think a street fight is a boxing match. A street fight doesn't have rules, so don't limit yourself to just using your hands. Use your knees, elbows, shins, palms, and head as well. If you want to know how to fight, take a look at Muay Thai/Lethwei. Another style that is great to know is the Philly Shell. It is a great defensive stance that allows you to benefit from your opponents mistakes. Having a mix of these two styles would greatly benefit you in a fight. 😁
