it's called entrapment. pretending to lure in alleged pedos to beat them up is the same thing as pedos trying to lure in kids. there creating a situation that otherwise would not have ever happend. it's like going on the internet to sell drugs to people who had no intention of doing drugs but since you offered to them and enticed them they then decided to buy drugs.
