Femur injuries specifically fractures are one of the most painful things you can experience sometimes being related similarly in pain to child birth some saying the pain is worse and more prolonged, in addition a femur break can prove life threatening as it can damage the major arteries in the leg causing severe bleeding that requires immediate medical attention, on a scale from 1-10 breaking the femur has consistently been placed at the 8-10 to 10-10 and is called "the most painful thing a person typically experiences in their life" if I had to say, probably don't try and break your femur it hurts a bit.
