What till you find out you can buy half or even a whole cow from your local farm for far less then any store
problem is who has enough to buy the piece to part out the steaks from? I never have that much cash at once!
Stop murdering animals and go vegan.
who is here watching and screaming "sharpen that damn knife!!!"
We get a beef roast rump ($25-$35) and we can get about 9 steaks out of it. Good marbling and tender.
that's no hack at all. Just a tip..smh
I freeze mine just a little bit first and it makes it easier to slice and less juice on the cutting board. I put two in a zip lock and take a pack out when we eat steak. I buy the rib eye though, a little more expensive but still a lot cheaper than buying just one or two.
hack?? thats life. welcome to adulthood. wtf😂
Yeah, but where does Costco beef come from. HEB uses inly Texas beef.
Way to go!!
Doesn't Costco cut it up for customers? You can always ask at the window..🤔
it depends on how thick you cut the steaks and also if you take the piece of meat and give it to the butcher in the back don't cut it for you at least Sam's club does so I don't know what the big deal is
I do this all the time, you can get ribeyes from the full prime rib roast as well, pork chops from a pork loin ect
smart girl, yes, you are doing it saving money,I have been doing this for overz20cyears,after I bought a freezer, itsxwell worth it,go cosco
Ok
When my kids were growing up, that is the only way I would buy steaks, a New York, a ribeye, a tenderloin. That way, if we're having a family, barbecue or anything I do have extra steaks.👍
Buying primals is always cheaper in the long run IF you can afford it and have the freezer space.
but she didn't tell us how much she saved
She’s cutting it upside down, and with a dull knife.
from a meat cutter fat up cutting swift motion
if she cut them at a 3/4th cut in stead of and inch she would have gotten like 20 to 25 steaks from it like bro if being a butcher has told me anything this woman did it wrong
Its all about the price per pound, not how many steaks ya get
I have been doing this for over 30 years ! I also do it with a large pork roast or pork loin to make my own pork chops !
would fill my whole freezer
😅 not a hack people have literally been doing this for centuries
another great tip: learn how to sharpen a knife
Pretty cool, yall notice man had to step in and help?
Better knife and skills you’re in it
ya boy
eat more chicken .
Wow 😮 that’s freaking smart
6.76× 19 = 128.44 😭😭😭😭😭😭😅😅😅
I do this with the whole cow. Grass and grain fed right on my own land. life hack
The tenderloin is the best. And use a food saver to remove air and seal the freezer bag.
well the cost comes from hiring a real butcher not a hack
why look so weird with the dark circles around their eyes ...must be their diet no?
I've done this for years. I also do the same with pork loin for chops. You get the thickness you want.
That's the way to do it
went to Costco to buy in bulk hack😂
meat is better
It’s huge that is what she said 😝😝😝😝
Great tip
Thank you
