problem is who has enough to buy the piece to part out the steaks from? I never have that much cash at once!

We get a beef roast rump ($25-$35) and we can get about 9 steaks out of it. Good marbling and tender.

I freeze mine just a little bit first and it makes it easier to slice and less juice on the cutting board. I put two in a zip lock and take a pack out when we eat steak. I buy the rib eye though, a little more expensive but still a lot cheaper than buying just one or two.

Doesn't Costco cut it up for customers? You can always ask at the window..🤔

it depends on how thick you cut the steaks and also if you take the piece of meat and give it to the butcher in the back don't cut it for you at least Sam's club does so I don't know what the big deal is

I do this all the time, you can get ribeyes from the full prime rib roast as well, pork chops from a pork loin ect

When my kids were growing up, that is the only way I would buy steaks, a New York, a ribeye, a tenderloin. That way, if we're having a family, barbecue or anything I do have extra steaks.👍

Buying primals is always cheaper in the long run IF you can afford it and have the freezer space.

if she cut them at a 3/4th cut in stead of and inch she would have gotten like 20 to 25 steaks from it like bro if being a butcher has told me anything this woman did it wrong

The tenderloin is the best. And use a food saver to remove air and seal the freezer bag.
