I saw these demonstrated about 10 years ago while in Washington DC at some military gig. I remember thinking, at the time, “Great, yet another bell or whistle incorporates chemicals we can throw into our landfills.” Sorry, but even now, seeing this, irks me. Just because we CAN do something, doesn’t mean we SHOULD do it. We’ve gotten along without these until now. You know damn well the used shells if these will start showing up in every remote, pristine place on earth if put into commercial production.
