I've done this so many times. when I really wanted a steak but got a burger instead so my wife could eat whatever she wanted.
I had to fix my husband’s plate when I cooked because he didn’t leave enough for me after fixing our kids plates. He’s an ex now.

Or he just wanted a couple of really good burgers. I went to a steak place and got a ground steak. It was mouth watering. Sometimes you're not in the mood for a steak but the others are. Who the hell cares what the other person wants but no need in trying to make them look bad cause you're the one it reflecks on and it looks bad on YOU.

It’s not that they don’t see it, they choose not to accept its real value. Prime example: sacrificing your time every day at home to go to work so that your family can be at home with each other. It’s one of the biggest sacrifice that most men make, and most women will turn around and say he never makes time for me. If you’re not convinced, I got another one. The little things like letting them choose, which I do with your day or where y’all go to eat , a lot of women consider this so minuscule that they would probably laugh at me for even saying this but me saying I want chilies and you say you want a steakhouse, we’re going to the steakhouse because that’s what you want. And most women will never understand it because they will never do it and they never have.
