Before they had baby food parents chewed the food and fed the babies. Rice peas, mashed potatoes etc. You can make your own food for babies. I don't know why the mother is yelling at him to sit up. he's hungry.

This is a beautiful child and a beautiful sign that he’s ready to eat solid food!🫶🏿 Those was the days I remember getting off from work picking up my kids from my parents house who was babysitting. I walked in and saw my 11 month old holding a damn chicken leg( drumstick ) ! My baby only had two front teeth and was holding on to that damn drumstick like it was a bottle. Nowadays I see the younger generation giving purée food . I guess it’s best to start them off with soft scrambled eggs mashed potatoes ground chicken and things. Rather the jar food . I was mad then but they explain to me that the baby was teething. It’s up to the parents but my parents said when you have her you feed her what you like but when she’s with us. For the new age parents, that is how it was done back way back when the baby started eating solid foods when you were out. When breastfeeding, you are passing on things through milk. It's different from seasoning meat in the sink.

to tame the baby a bit, eat the meat off the drum and give lil boo the bone to chew on,sometimes table food is to much for their stomach,or order mashed potatoes and dip the bone and give it back when the sucks off the mashed potatoes, I gave my son table too early and his lil belly didn't digest all the way and the doctor chastised me about it...cute moments when them teeth come watch out
