I always clean my chicken thoroughly before seasoning and cooking it. Not judging, that’s just what I do. I scrape all the fat off the skin with a meat cleaver, then, take all that slime off along with the fat. Next step is soaking it in salt and vinegar until it turns white and rinse very well several times to get all the salt out. Then I season it. It be the cleanest and delicious chicken you would ever want to eat.
