it rained the other day at clayco job site in az and instead of looking for a water spout after getting down from the buckhoist I seen the same system they had on they're roofs so I used that to clean and fill my buckets for concrete. I felt the same way as him when ppl saw me lmaooo

What I remember when it rains, you have to adjust all the pH balance and everything else and it can get costly so I don’t know if they’re saving any money by adding that much rainwater but they may be. I don’t know where bird poops any worse than somebody getting in a swim poolwho knows what’s in it?

We have to use a water catchment tank for everything in the house, including showers, not drinking though. You add bleach and change the water filter every once in a while. There’s state doesn’t have waterlines out here.

Thats not new. My grandfather was doing that in the late 89s early 90s until he died in 93. No one would have thought then to patent it and call it an invention but its still a good idea.

Hoarding/storing rainwater is illegal in some states. Oregon is one of them.

Maybe helpful if you’re not using a pool cover, you know you lose water from evaporation or with that nice crack in the pool deck I can imagine that having a few underground leaks my dad used to save enough water. He can water his whole yard and backyard throughout the summer. Had all the rainwater in 55 gallons drums this was before the big white water containers he would have 45/50 in the backyard. used a small transfer pump to water to plants the homemade drip system he did for a few years and got bored with it.
