yeah well I was a waitress for 45 years. we had to take people till 1 minute before we close. and believe me there were plenty of inconsiderate people that would come in with a party of 10 expect us to say for 2 hours when we close at 10:00 and then tip like crap and then I'm there for an hour and a half after that doing my closing duties. people do not care
Jason's DELI ALWAYS HELP PEOPLE RUNNING LATE,WE. ALWELCOME THEM,WE GO INTO OVERTIME,GOOD FOR OUR CHECKS👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🌸🌸🌸🌸💕💕💕💕💕🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸💕💕💕💕
must have been trump
2 hours to cook 99 cheese burgers and finish cleaning! I DON'T THINK SO!
He crumbles at that age wait till he gets in the real world
Make sure they’re paid for, could be a prank
I would make them pay for it before I made them.
This is a joke. This is a scam. There’s no way anybody’s were ordering 99 cheeseburgers at that time of the night so what you should’ve said I need your phone number and I need to see you come in with identification first then we’ll make the 99 cheeseburgers that’s what I would’ve said
it's called work because, you have to work
🫢 this happened to me at Burger King in the 80 🤬 in the rush to work on them someone pushed the cling wrap box it's bout 20 lbs fell on my hand and cut me bad. I went to the manager he bout passed out told me to go to the hospital 15 stitches later management said I did it on purpose to get out of that order 🤣 he was kidding.
if you are getting ready to close, why answer the phone?
I'd say sorry but we re closing in 5 mins
Wow, stop whining and get on it, you will be done in 30 to 45 minutes tops
so sorry cupcake are you going to be late for you and your boy friends video game night .what a sack.
it's yourjob stop complaining about it, and just do it
Don't lose your mind. Get to work.
I would tell them we close in 5 minutes and can’t possibly make that much food in 5 minutes. We need to put an end to this nonsense of entitlement and childish behavior. It’s up to the sane people to stand up. Jail them, they learn or the next trip is flying overseas somewhere.
Make sure it isn’t a scam
I'd quit. How do you know it's even legit.
🌸🌸🌸🌸 be thankful you got a job and just do your work🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
refuse the order
honestly I was a kitchen manager this happened to me but I had no help and 35 guys from some kind of sports event come rolling in maybe 15-10 minutes before we close I had to make five total sandwiches and cook myself and it ended up being crazy it's I'm a spaz but then my manager goes just keep going they'd love it and I look over and all these guys got me on their phones and they're like take your time you're a beast cuz I was a beast I'm a very tough worker but yeah this has happened to me it sucks but I didn't cry
Tell them that the grill is closed and we can’t handle that big of a order this late That is so rude to come and place a order like that when it’s time to go home …or maybe I would have just left
I worked at McDonald's in 1978. I had a lady come to the counter and order " $75.00 worth of Big Macs". This was when we actually had to math lol.
look at it as overtime👍
I remember when I was younger I worked at a Dq and in the summer we close at 10pm. We had everything ready and cleaned so we could leave but busses full of kids softball teams would pull up. We all just wanted to cry. We served them but were very upset lol👍👍👍
If it’s that bad and inconveniences their whole evening, they should just close up and let the order lay there on the floor until the morning.
99 cheeseburgers I'm sorry we're closed
fire his 👍ass.. who goes crazy like that
does not take 2 hours to make 100 burgers.for McDonald's that would have taken under 10 minutes
Two employees could most likely prepare them in less than 30 minutes. Especially if they are closed and aren't taking other orders. Crybaby needs a job where he gets paid to do nothing. Yet he would still complain about the amount of hours he gets paid to do nothing.
I hope you were paid for them before you started cooking
Would just make the order it’s my job.
just make them
Overtime! It had happened to me in the afternoon; 2 busses of elementary students on a field trip. I was by myself in the kitchen at a Friendly’s. It was just 3 of us, waitress, assistant manager and I. I prepared food for over 100 kids plus teachers and drivers. When I worked evenings, we had line going out the door at closing time. We did get to leave for 3 hours.
OMG that's nothing when we used to have the $.29 hamburger and $.39 cheeseburgers, we would get ordered for more than that. we'd just park them and make them as fast as we could we would start the closed down grill and made it faster to serve. he doesn't need to be in good service
In the amount of time it took for him to whine about the responsibilities of the HE chooses to hold, he could have mad 10 burgers. Get to grillin' and quit whining. Hey folks, life is not fair, period. I hope he started looking for another job the next day, because if he stayed, he should not whine about something he has control over, where he works.
I would say that is a fake order!
🫵🏻🤨 ex Manager- In-N-Out Burger the minute it’s 1 o’clock we have a guy run out there and put the post sign that we’re closed. There’s still six cars out there moving up slowly. A guy moves the pole sneaks in. I told him I’m sorry we’re close. You saw the sign I already threw ice on the grill. He got so mad. He got the pole and threw it through the window, broke the window and glass shattered all over my face and eyes he took off my crew had to go to the hospital to get our eyes dilated, clean iodine.-🤦🏻♂️-other nights we would have to fight with the customers it was crazy, but we always won at the end
We did this when I was in college. Took a dorm order and went and ordered 50 cheeseburgers about 10 minutes before closing time. They got them out to us.
I'd get to work and get them done faster you get to work ,the faster they are DONE......
what I would do was cook the burgers and fill the order I wouldn't be throwing a little tantrum fit like a child he'll get paid for those two hours I think he's what they call a soy boy
How would they even have enough supplies for 99 cheese burgers that late at night.
it's rude to order 99 burgers at closing time. The crew is tired and wants to go home.
tell'm sorry we're closed 😆
doesn't take 2 hrs to make 99 burgers. geez.
Own the sale and make CHEESEBURGERS !!!
I would say hey were closed sorry
He should have quit then. You are getting overtime so whatever
my unit was headed back to Vietnam in 1975. we were stuck on the tarmac at the Hilo Air Base on the big island. we had not anticipated a delay in C-130 is coming to pick us up so the COS got together and ordered a massive McDonald's order which came to roughly about, 650 Big Macs, 700 Quarter Pounders with cheese 300 without cheese, and loads and loads of fries with milkshakes of various blends and sodas. we each got our order which was rounded up so that we could cover any tip. it took two and a half hours to get our food and I guess the three 6Xs that retrieve the orders should have been the workers first clue that this was going to be a massive order. as it turned out they didn't mind helping third Marines deploy. all the workers stayed until every last visit the order was filled. I will never forget that.
🤖🤖🤖
I was working at BigBoy a state trooper came in at closing ordered 200 big boy combos . it was for a bus load of old people on holiday. Was alot of wor but we got it done. The manager wouldn't take their money either. This happened in the middle of winter in northern Michigan
It’s part of the job buddy yea it sucks but we know the rule at night shift wait till the last min
they hired a moron
Get it done, that was God saying you ask for the job. 🙏🏽💛🤗
When Burger King was running the $.99 whoppers, I bought 100 of them for a party we were at
Yea, no. Not me….😲😆
I would leave because I did my time. 😆
These fast food businesses do not hire full time so they don’t have to pay health insurance. So sad.
Probably Had a long day and ready to head home. I understand that completely
I always left 15 minutes early in computer support
Lucky you. Two more hours of work.
Tell them we are close!! I would fire me lol 😭
back in 75 the McDonald's I worked at was on a bus line. Happened at least 4 times a month
So many places now will refuse you I’d like a half hour before closing. I’ve seen it happen many times.
After that order I would have said sorry we are closed!!
deal with it that's what your there for
good money for the franchise owners and overtime pay for employees, what's. the problem?
