I understand her frustration but she chose a job that depends on tips. Tips are not required. And unfortunately there’s a growing class of people with zero class. What needs to happen is get rid of the tipping culture and add a delivery fee.
Tipping should be cancelled altogether but for pizza delivery, you actually pay extra for the delivery.. so that’s the tip I was going to leave

Everyone in these comments need to go try to make an honest living and paying bills on a delivery person wages. They depend on those tips. Specially if they have children. Judging by that ladies reaction, she had no one, mom-dad-brother or sister to back her up if she can’t pay bills. Life is hard for some people. Walk a mile in those shoes before you proceed to pass judgment. In truth, she should have never had to ask for that tip. It should have been included from the start. And if you say “what if I wanted to give a cash tip “ that isn’t a good idea either. It’s a bad idea to have cash on you as a delivery person. Bad decision and bad practice. If you don’t agree with me, you need to evaluate your manners and the way you treat people in life. And the next time something makes you ask “what’s wrong with the world today” just don’t, and realized you are definitely part of the problem.

Yes, exactly tips not really required and you can leave a tip on a credit card when you pay is somebody coming up and she gets paid regardless she doesn’t get a tip. She’s always her boundaries. She don’t go up to a customer and ask him for a tip, are you serious to let them do it on their own willnot make him feel obligated to do that and she was very rude. I would give her a tip, a bag of poop.
You don't automatically deserve a tip. It doesn't matter if the industry you chose doesn't pay enough. Find a job that doesn't rely on people's generosity to make you more money.
them drivers are getting like $20 to $22 dollars an hour!!!!! what FUCKIN tips!!!! you're telling me that that delivery driver makes more than minimum wage and i still have to tip them when they get paid more than the average person working a minimum wage job!!!! when i was driving for papa johns in Chicago i was getting 15.50 an hour and that was in 1998 going into 99!!! i live in California now and minimum wage is 16.50, them drivers are making more than minimum wage checks!!!!

If I give you advice and you use are you going to tip me. If you go dealership and they change your oil or fix your car do you tip the mechanic or just go pay bill! If not why not they provided a service? It’s works to the same thing service was provided! Tipping has gotten out of hand. the facts of the matter is tips were only used during the depression when no one had any money to pay their workers. it takes about a dollar to make a pizza and they sell them for about 15 dollars. that's a 15000% profit margins. her company makes more than enough to pay her a liveable wage it shouldn't be on customers to make up the difference in any scenario. I also believe a server of any type should also be making a liveable wage and customers shouldn't have to pay the difference so you are making a liveable wage. secondly it's all apart of the job she knew what she signed up for and the possible outcomes of working this job.
where did this mentality come from, we deserve some of your money because our job doesn't pay enough.. no I paid for a service and that is what I will pay for... if you go outside of that service and expectation, I might give you a tip if it seems like you dont feel entitled to one.. we are entitled to nothing.. you people getting upset about people not tipping are ridiculous depending on the kindness of others to pay your bills.. complaining about it the whole while.. earn your money, dont expect people to just give you some because you did the job you were paid by company, to do that job..
I always add in tip before I order, so if I don't have enough I don't order...simple...you never know , she already knew y'all wasn't going to tip, she probably rubbed her butt on it😂😂😂😂😂
the problem is workers should be paid enough money to do their jobs that they don't have to be reliant on tips...a tip should be something extra you occasionally get for doing your job well. it shouldn't be something you need to get in order to even justify having the job.
I deliver for the same place and I have for the last 5 yrs. This is not the way to act, tips are not an obligation for customers. We get a wage if you don't like it find somewhere else.

the tip is took outta the total at the end of your order it shouldn't be expected when your deliver the food now if they feel like giving you more that's on them but you shouldn't treat them poorly because you feel you deserve more then what you got. you want a tip get a better job if you want more money! sorry rant over

The last time I ordered pizza including tax, .= 32 00 + a 7.99 delivery fee, + 10.00 tip. Makes that a 50.00 pizza. And that delivery fee is not included in the tip. The drivers work for the pizza place. Not crub hub. What the 😡 Tipping is way out of hand. But if you don't good luck with what unwanted things you might end up with.
some of us work off tips and base pay is nearly not enough to cover what we spend in time using our gas our car to drive and to deliver those people's packages and food I agree 100% everybody should tip it's common courtesy.when you go to a restaurant and you get your food handed to you by somebody who doesn't even prepare it but you tip them well correct??
The craziest part is that dominos is probably a half of a mile away from the delivery house and she thinks she’s owed so much money for just driving a pizza 2 1/2 minutes away

I find the person delivering RUDE to ASK for TIP. Her ATTITUDE CHANGED when the customer said "NO." Then she THROWS the boxes. GrubHub orders give you the option to include the tip on the order. I leave a 20% on my order, and I GIVE the delivery person my order CASH as my APPRECIATION and they DO APPRECIATE it!! 🙏👍👍

hey Americans... there's a service called delivery... Just like if you were in a restaurant, you tip your server... Well, if you don't want to go pick up your pizza, it'll be delivered... there's going to be a delivery driver (who's making minimum wage) to bring your food... although not required, it would be appreciated, and a good gesture for mankind... don't be petty...

Listen this shouldn't be a "they need to get a better job" or "the company should pay the delivery driver more". How about don't order delivery if you're not going to tip? Drive down and pick your food up. Delivery was put in place as a convenience to you not a right. well what they should do is put the tip in with the receipt when they have a call in order so then they'll pay for the full service instead of half ass and not paying us people a tip when it's supposed to be paid a tip

If I'm ordering my food standing up at a counter, or over the phone for me to pick up...no tip. If someone brings it to my door, I will tip them because I didn't have to go out and get it.
if you cant afford to tip the person who brought you food with their vehicle, then you shouldn't be eating out. yes I know some companies provide vehicles but alot of pizza shops don't

99% of pizza places INCLUDE a delivery fee thats your tip right there. im not buying food from a place just gor them to tell me it costs more after ive already paid. and after acting that way after hearing no tip, i would have given that shit right back to you

Domino's charges 2 fees for "tips" It is call a delivery fee... These dominoes employees never see that money. Their not getting tipped either. they are however driving their own vehicles in most cases. Domino's does not treat their employees right.

well on both sides treat people how you want to be treated if you never know when you have to resort to doing a service job like delivering you never know remember everybody has to die of something and make you may be young you may be old but you have to die something I was diagnosed with cancer at 49 and I also have congestive heart failure at an early age I'm only 55 now and the doctors don't even want me working and I had careers so you never know when your life shifts because something happens and something will happen sooner or later and you never know if you had to resort to make an ends meet by delivering pizzas or doing doordash or Uber or whatever and if you think you would like tips doing that type of job then everybody else would like tips doing that type of job so just be more mindful because everybody's turn or time is coming sooner or later...
