12 x 2 = 24.... 12 x 50 = 600 or 6 because 50 is not a '100' ... 24 6 = 30.... This is how I do mine

That works if you're dealing with 100 or half of 100 or a quarter of a hundred, but I'm still confused for everything in between, got a quick trick for that?
percents work backwards as well. 250% of 12 is easier for me to figure

The answer is 30
10 percent of 250 is 25. 20 percent of 25 is 5. 25 5 = 30.
Or 1%, 2.5 quickly doubled, 5. Add to your 10%, 30.Like your math Daniel.
