One of my new neighbors pretended to want to date me and adopt my dog that I had been considering re-homing. Within five weeks, he was showing up unannounced at my apartment, trying to interfere with my sons routine, buying my flowers all the time, even jewelry and a microwave when mine randomly died, bought my son a new bike, etc. my mama boundaries kept being encroached upon so I defended those boundaries that were in place to protect my son. Come to find out, it was all trying to get close to my child. I am so thankful that I paid attention to even red flag that I kept taking note of. No, nobody falls in love within a week & never should anyone be pushy to enter your life and put so much effort into trying to convince you that they're safe. problem is it started becoming so rare for so many men to give flowers, an a lot of men that do, only do it wen there about to confess to cheating or something. most women I dated asked me what I did wrong, when I explained it was just to make her happy they were happy, but had never got flowers b4. my wife was cool with being single the rest of her life till I came along. never had an argument, bought her flowers for many years, only guy to ever spend money on her. im poor, like 36,000$ a year, maybe a lil more, she works too. live with our kids who are awesome. none of us argue. but im very appreciated, an loved, an happy as can be.
