I used to think making jokes about things like that were funny too. until I met my wife who was molested and raped by her dad starting at age 3. she still has issues that she will probably never resolve. we are no longer together because she's just too messed up. I don't think it's funny anymore.
The serious damage that sexual trauma does to a child, that they carry into every adult relationship, is so devastating!! Nobody has any right to minimize their trauma or laugh at their hellish experience. This man is trying to share the worst experiences of his entire life, that shaped every part of his adult life. I hate seeing that they're minimizing his trauma and shaming this man for being a child victim!! Anyone who laughs at this man's trauma is going to hell, and is a truly evil person. No child deserves to be abused or to victim blamed!!

I was molested from age 5 to 11 by a "trusted" family friend. it has damaged me in countless ways that I can't even go into. But at the same time when I come across things like this I just have to laugh. What's the point in getting mad at something like this.
