i got hit like this once. lady was doordashing. i was 14. crossed at a crosswalk and locked eyes with her as she hit me. i was concussed for the next 16 months and still suffer from migraines and i lost the ability to speak basic english. i had to relearn.

That’s not a school bus. The child probably rides the school bus but took public transportation that day and in that child’s mind she was still thinking she was getting off of a school bus.

that's not a school bus , it's public transportation , parents must teach them to wait for the bus to leave then cross when it's safe to cross ,
teaching your kids to look before crossing could have also prevented this
That was a public transport bus, unfortunately the stopping law for school buses doesn’t apply here. They don’t have stop signs that swing out either. Safety is up the individual exiting the bus. 🤷♀️
