The reality here is the fact that because of these kinds of crimes, businesses tend to close their stores once they begin to lose on their profits. The ones who truly become affected by this are those who hold down jobs and work for an honest day's pay! Most of these crimes are considered to be petty crimes, so criminals don't usually do much time for it. Our judicial system needs to become more stringent and punish them more harshly.

Several times I have been in a store when a thief just walked out with an armload or cartload of merchandise, setting off the alarm. The employees just shrug and go on about their day. I guess they are not supposed to confront the thieves because they could get hurt.
Whatever they stole, obviously was not funny, but what was comical to me was that you have 4 grown men stealing (something) and trying to get into the smallest getaway car? That bonus depends on sales and losses. the bonuses for reg Walmart employees goes down as the store losses go up so Walmart actually makes its regular employees pay back the losses out of the bonus pools. management get theirs regardless. People don't know how ruthless Walmart is when it comes to employees. If you do nothing you get in trouble and if you do anything you get trouble. they have loss prevention they pay large salaries to. let them deal with it
