So I'll be one to admit to at least one of these. in my younger years I lacked direction and long story short I got myself in trouble and sent to prison at 19. Of course most know there are work release programs to transition you out of prison. before being accepted and sent to work release I was at a work camp which is different cause there you work free for the government and at work release you go get a real job and they take about half of what you make. My sentence was 48 months and with 18 months left you could sign up and go. The only thing that should hold you back is disciplinary problems, which I had none. I signed up at 18 months left, I also worked two important jobs on the work camp, jobs that I'm very expensive for outside contractors to come into the prison and do. I tried to train numerous other inmates to do the job but it wasn't working out cause most couldn't be trusted. I left the camp with only 4 months left in my sentence to go to work release.
