yah free energy like cattle and human propelled motion and starving populations to do work for you so they don't starve a great motivator to get shit done and suppress them harder when they get shit wrong so they take it out on each other. and them mega blocks everyone so crazy about can teach a 2 year old how to mix the dirt and how to place forms then grind smooth simple tools can cut rock and using a sand gravel with another liquid get them to be grinded smooth, and a simple square with a hole in it's center where the points meet hanging a string and stone from it can make shit level, and lever and pulleys very few people needed to move large objects. haven't had to re invent, and round things roll and reducing friction allows things to slide

They used a lot of water power, being first to irrigation. Can you imagine how much weight you can move using water leverage? Infinite. Imagine the pressure made at the bottom of a pyramid filled with water. Now imagine that the bottom of a pyramid was like a piston, forced down by the weight transfer. How large of sand stones or metalcan you compress (forge)? What about steam power once this is boiled? Giant boiler rooms.
