this video does not depict the suns movement. it depics the earth's movements. if you think about it the way that you all now it works, even in Alaska, at some point the sun would not be visible. this is a series of snap shots of the same spot at the same time. one cpuld argue that this video coild be done in a way that the sun would essentially stand still through the whole video by taking a picture of the sun when its in the exact same position rather than the exact same time each day. Admittedly, this connected your looking at is hard to wrap your head around. but just remember that your not seeing the suns movement through out the day when it would go back behind the earth and no be visible for a large period of time. its pretty cool to see this.
