Yeah, that's a very misleading statement. The "Eve" gene concept does have merit, but there is absolutely irrefutable proof that not every living person comes from a single descendant. Rather it proves that humans evolved from a common ancestor between 100,000 and 200,000 years ago. That's the sum of it.
