There were human remains discovered by archeologists in Lovelock caves, located in Nevada, that were around 10 feet tall. I believe some were mummified. There are documented cases of giant skeletons that have been unearthed all over the world. These may not be overly gigantic, but it is proof that there were groups of people who were excessively tall that existed.
