what's the height of the plane from the side? conveniently missing even though that's the orientation of the plane. if the plane we viewed top down from that distance it would appear twice as big.
the moon does not orbit in a perfect circle. one night it might be 3000 miles closer then when you took the other pic. obviously the moon is in different phases so it's just your focal point is off
you can see the space station yourself. go outside right after dark and keep looking up. soon you will see what looks like a star moving across the sky. that would be the space station. it's cool seeing that dot just booking it across the sky!
