I love this brother but I have to disagree with him. NC A&T is one of the top engineering schools in the country!!! It's an HBCU. They have engineering programs at Community Colleges. The gatekeepers are the parents of our babies. We as a community use sports to get to the pros and there isn't anything wrong with that. We should use sports to teach our babies the lessons of teamwork, competition, being a competitor, discipline, hard work, and use it to get a scholarship to help pay for school. Not all athletes get division 1 scholarships which typically are full athletic aid. D2 and NAIA give partial athletic aid that can be paired with academic aid to make a good package.
