That means world wide it would have to have rained over 3 inches per minute for 40 days and nights. Also, given the stated size of the supposed ark and the number of animals. every one of them would have had an area of around 3.2 feet by 3.2 feet for them to live in. And that would have to include enough food for around 18 months. What food did the carnivors eat? And let's not forget that this story is very much like the earlier tale of the flood in the Epic of Gilgamesh.
They added just enough history to make it believable....... but over 95% of the Bible is stories that the Jews made up when they were slaves.
