Man, I wish this was true. God's been breaking me for 47 years, and I dont have shit.to show for it even though I'm sober, working, and have been a great dad to my son. Now, my 6 yr old son is facing challenges. This is just a repeat of my life. I've prayed all my life and if I didn't accomplish something, it didn't happen. I struggle with believing these days. I just don't see the point.
