my over friendly empathetic self would went and asked her was she okay? do she need a hug? maybe a snack to feel better.. and tell her everything is okay, you never know what someone going through this could been her breaking point, mental health is serious and we all need compassion, that why I give people compliments and say nice things.. one act of kindness can make it better, I learned this from a sweet woman I met in a store when I was younger I lost a relative she seen me I smiled at her and she told me even though I'm smiling she sees the sadness in my eyes, I'm beautiful young girl, and whatever you going through things will get better 😭 I gave her a hug that interaction showed me compassion can heal the broken
