It’s sad that all jokes aside, she hasn’t got him medical testing to see what is going on with him so he can receive the services he needs to grow and learn. I’m shocked no one has tried to intervene and get that poor boy some serious medical attention, he needs services that can help him to learn and give him the care he needs. He is not fine and he definitely needs to be treated for his medical needs now so he isn’t far behind or suffering. She may have had issues or trauma in her childhood but that doesn’t mean you let your child go through the same thing or worse. Most people genuinely care for him and wants to see him get the help he needs and for her to learn how to take care of him, so she can be the mother he needs and they can be happy as a family.
