Cube never claimed to be a gangster. He rapped about what he seen growing up in South Central LA and he wrote for members of NWA who were about that life. Just cause you ain’t a gangsta don’t mean you don’t have good experiences. It’s cats in the hood that don’t bang or anything that will knock a street cat out in a heartbeat and woke back down.
