I can remember crawling up under a vehicle and dropping a transmission on my chest several times I was supporting it with my legs and knees, and the one arm that wasn’t turning the wrench for the last bolt! It was no big deal; and then I would wiggle out from under the vehicle, fix the transmission or replace the clutch or whatever I had to do then we go back up under there, but the transmission back on top of me, using my legs and arm once again, as I got the first boat in the placeafter the boat was secured, I no longer had the weight on me

I knew a mechanic in his early 30s transmission fell cutting his leg he died a week later from infection from the cut.
that would have cut him deep in the stomach

This happens more frequently than you would imagine. Working on a vehicle or working on an airplane is equally dangerous. Take every safety precaution as a tool to extend your longevity.
lol, they said his leg when it obviously hit much higher. Also poorly done because I've done that job numerous times and the weight bias is towards the rear. AND the torque converter is missing. that's usually removed with the transmission on a jack like that.

Yeah it’s fake. The first “responder” puts his hands all over the Hurt guy’s face and holds it like it’s the actual Transmission he’s moving off the hurt guy. The yelling and complaining doesn’t match whats going on in the Video anyways.🤔😲
using that flimsy top piece caused more problems. Always when underneath a vehicle think of everything you can that can go wrong starting with the way you rack it 👍
The one mechanic grabs the guy’s head. Even if that was a hollow transmission it still must have hurt.
I guess the smartest way to do that is not watch any more videos🤔😆 something to think about🤔
