I handled my little business and then when I was done I washed my hands and I walked straight to a payphone to call my mother because I knew that I was going to be either expelled sent home or punished for using the bathroom. when they decided I would have to stay after school for detention I let them know I wasn't staying for detention that I felt it was crazy for them to punish me for using the bathroom. I went straight home and explain to my mother and she simply said okay. she called my father when I went to school that day they wouldn't allow me to go to class so I called my parents and they came up to the school. I'm not sure what was said in that room between the principal my teacher and my parents but after the second time they never bothered me again. children have civil rights too.

when a person is using the bathroom they have a right to privacy and sit there as long as it takes. no one on this planet can change that. mother nature does what it does when you clean your body. you have to allow yourself that private moment. it wouldn't have made a bit of difference to me. I'm proud of the young man for not telling her off. if he had a phone he should have turned it on when she came in spewing her demands. students have a right to use the bathroom when they need to use the bathroom.
