I'm fairly confident that once these weeds break off they only deposit seeds and don't come back to life. Acting like they are some sort of animal seeking water is wild. 😆
Perhaps water could be used to control them.
Rollin, rolling, rolling yea haw
Those things are evil. Painful to handle, impossible to get rid of. I did have one that seemed to be seeking something. It kept rolling and bashing into my gate. So I opened the gate and set it free. I waved goodbye as it rolled down the street. The funny thing to watch here is when they roll across roads in herds. We just stop and let them go by
This is how the movie Critters was thought up
And anyway, they’re like turtles the mother turtle lazy eggs, and never returns
this is completely not true what they're talking about is the dinosaur plant. this s*** is getting old
tumble weeds and resurection plants are 2 completely different plants!
you can eat them too they are eatable
Miss information at its best
amazing
when was the study finding that dead weeds "live" over 100 years? what a BS, silly post. i don't know why thay post these ridiculous things.
Texas has tumbleweeds. you do not want to be run over by one.
Very interesting!
This is dumb.
they spread their seeds when they get wet 😂😂 me too!
a dumb coworker also tried to tell me that tumble weeds were still alive
😭
my mother would sing the DRIFTING ALONG LIKE A TUMBLING TUMBLEWEED
There was a documentary made in 1986 about them called Critters
they're like pigeons, you find them everywhere.
Pretty cool 😊
that's impressive I've seen a lot of tumbleweeds but I never knew that thank you
See them tumbling down Pledging their love to the ground
Russian Thistle, right?
I still remember Kenny getting off the bus and being hit by a tumbleweed
interesting !!
wow
had no clue. thankyou
😰😰
tumbleweeds are a great example of how evolution isn't an intelligent or beneficial process like everyone thinks... imagine a field of bushes... we'll call em stayweeds. these bushes live in a valley. they grow, drop seeds, die, and the seeds grow the next generation. sometimes there's mutations. some mutations give that bush an advantage, and it's seeds thrive better, and the mutation becomes the new normal for a stayweed. voila evolution. now one day, a mutation occurs where a stayweed has a weak crappy stem. wind blows, crappy stem breaks, stayweed gets blown out of the valley and tumbles for miles and miles and miles, dropping seeds all over the place, creating a new generation, not of stayweeds, but of crappy weak stemmed tumbleweeds... all of which will repeat this cycle and spread throughout all the lands everywhere, wildly bypassing the stayweeds in proliferation, all due to a crappy weak little stem that snapped off in the first windstorm...
the ones on Nevada are massive...with spikes / large thorns..saw one 100lb. one jammed under the front end of a corvette....needless to say...the front end was toast 😆
They look alive when you see them..Desert creatures!😆😆😆
Bull
Evolution cooked with this one
Interesting 👍
those are tumbleweeds those have thorns and they're not fun to be messed with we have tumbleweeds in California and in Texas and they can roll around and hit cars and scratch them and hit people with it always want to be aware of tumbleweeds
Wrong. The wind blows them and their seeds fall off. The tumbleweed is completely dead! I love hitting them with my car! They explode!
we have those in grand coulee
lol, wtf is this?
