I had a one of those big paper hornet nest above my window. I knocked it down at night and they came out nailing the window. Someone told me they dont fly at night. Found out that was a fucking lie.

Just got a tip for you. Next time just go buy some hairspray that makes hair stiff and unmovable. Spray them. They won’t fly for long.
If they can't get you the camera man will due .
I would be researching the average lifespan of a wasp, and wait out all of them
