Hell, I partied in my younger days. that all stopped when I had my daughter. I tried drinking afterward. I even had people I trusted to watch her. I couldn't drink no more than one to two beers. all that went through head was, what if something happened and I was too drunk to know? the MOMENT you have a child, you better flip that party switch in your head. you no longer can think about only yourself. your child comes above everything. you tired? tough. sleep when they sleep. wanna drink? only one or two beers, or dont drink at all. you no longer can do whatever you want. you do whatever you need to do, for your child. that's the bottom line. you make sure they are safe. you dont hope that the television will keep child occupied, while you sleep off your drunkenness. I know quite a few people that did that, while on harsher stuff. then put down their own kids for doing the same thing. do better as parents.

nobody on this earth is perfect, the Lord made us this for that reason. I pray she stopped drinking and I pray she is safe with her son because being away from your child, is unbearable. I couldn't imagine even 1 out of my four kids being other than at school. I have a 2 year old and I have so many safeguards all around him. cabinets, fridge, drawer, closets, bathroom, cameras every stinkin where, and alarms but half the time toddlers lay with mommy and daddy so why is that little mans first instinct to run for the front door too? my little dude runs to my room. but nobody is perfect like I said.

if he has children your not going go tell me him or his wife ..etc...they have not let thier children watch TV laying down or listening/ watching kid nursery rhymes..etc. to help get to sleep...not even once???? hope you and your spouse never ever get sick...because ..well ..they may get up then too....no the alcohol is not ok..but if it was only 1....lol..a lot of men and his cop buddies probably have more than 1 when theyre off duty ( hopefully they wait)

I got out when I was 2 and walked 2 blocks and even crossed a street to my grandparents' house. They weren't home, and luckily, the neighbors saw me and took me in and came and knocked on my parents' door, but my Mom was asleep upstairs. My parents' neighbor told my Dad when he saw he got home and told him who had me, then he came and picked me up. After that, my Dad put a chain lock on the door high up. That way, I couldn't reach it with a chair. My Mom was scared to death that I had gotten out while she was sleeping. I thought everyone had left me cause I didn't see my Dad or my Mom cause her head was under the covers and my brother was at school. So I was going to my grandparents. I knew the way at 2 because we always went there and they weren't far away. I even remember looking for car to cross the street.
