Look. I am MAGA and support anti illegal immigration. That said, this man appears to have been an interpreter that supported our troops and was offered asylum in USA as he would have been killed if he remained. He could have done more for this country than MOST posting here. He likely suffered from PTSD. You heard the life pressures he was under and because he's an immigrant, might not have had access to services he probably desperately needed. The cop, who also served, failed to descalate and missed opportunity to connect with the guy veteran to veteran. He (cop) has likely regretted that since. Part of being a MAGA is applying critical thinking and that is what I see above. Shame.
